Adult Inpatient Treatment
ADULT INPATIENT TREATMENT PROGRAM
Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient
treatment for adults and older adults who have moderate to severe psychiatric
and behavioral problems. Our programs are tailored to the patient’s needs
enabling them to more effectively cope with their emotions and maladaptive
behaviors.
Clarion also offers Adult alcohol and drug education with a Certified Addiction Counselor. Treatment for Dual Diagnosis MH/MR Consumers utilizing a multidisciplinary assessment and comprehensive individualized treatment addressing primary psychiatric/behavioral disorders as well as mental retardation needs is also provided. Smoking is permitted in an outdoor enclosed courtyard.
Some patients require adjunctive therapies or
other modalities to most effectively communicate
and express themselves. Our Allied Therapy
Program provides the adult with optional avenues
for expression and fosters group interaction.
Recreation, art/movement and music therapy are
offered to patients 7 days a week.

Many people come to Clarion Psychiatric Center with feelings of loneliness, depression, and other emotional difficulties complicated by alcohol or drug addiction. Our certified addiction counselor offers drug/alcohol education groups for adult patients and individual consultations for further drug and alcohol treatment upon discharge.
