The goal of all treatment at Clarion Psychiatric Center is to advance cost-effective quality outcomes in psychiatric care.  To that end, all treatment plans are solution-focused, goal-oriented and based on the problem-specific needs of the patient.   Overall length of stay is variable and customized to the individual's needs.

In addition, treatment planning includes the development of a comprehensive, continuous care plan that assures the patient a smooth transition to less-restrictive levels of care.

Adult Program

• For adults age 18 and older.
• Treatment for depression, anxiety or more severe psychiatric disorders.
• Full programming seven days a week.
• Ongoing family therapy.
• Patient education to develop more effective management of mental illness.

Alcohol and/or Drug Education

• For adults age 18 and older.
• Education focused exclusively on primary psychiatric and addictive disorders.
• Groups focused on first three steps of 12-step model of addictions.  
• Patient involvement in local AA/NA meetings upon discharge suggested.
• Full aftercare planning.

Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Services

• Inpatient treatment available at our affiliated rehabilitation facilities.
